Royal Sumatran Reserve | Sumatra Coffee
Deep dark chocolate, rustic dried fruit, and a rich, syrupy finish.
Uncover the exotic, heavy-bodied depth of Indonesia with our premium single-origin Sumatra. Sourced from the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan (KBQB) co-op in the famed Aceh and Takengon regions, these beans grow in high-altitude volcanic soils up to 1,600 meters. A heritage mix of Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, and Jember varietals yields one of the most distinctive cup profiles in the world.
Processed using Sumatra’s traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulling) method, this coffee unfolds with an intensely syrupy body and a lingering finish. Upfront notes of rich dark chocolate are layered with sweet dried fruit and comforting, rustic earthy tones. Balanced by a medium, rounded acidity, it delivers a deeply satisfying, velvety cup for lovers of complex, bold coffees.
