Royal Ugandan Reserve | Uganda Coffee
Silky dark fruits, warm chocolate, and a whisper of floral sweetness.
High on the lush, misty slopes surrounding Mount Elgon in the Kapchorwa District, this single-origin Ugandan coffee is grown at extraordinary elevations reaching up to 2,500 meters. Cultivated by dedicated local farming communities, prized Bourbon-derived varietals—including SL14, SL28, and historic Blue Mountain—thrive in the nutrient-dense volcanic soil.
Fully washed and meticulously sun-dried, this roast yields a light, smooth body with a delicate, approachable acidity. The cup opens with comforting layers of rich dark chocolate, seamlessly interwoven with the sweetness of ripe dark fruits like black cherry and plum. A soft, perfumed floral finish rounds out the profile, creating an exceptionally elegant and balanced brew.
